Our Magickal Journey: Made for Witches, By Witches

In 2017, while preparing for a Sabbat ritual, Shay realized that store-bought candles always needed magickal “doctoring” to feel truly powerful—and how expensive and time-consuming that process could be. Drawing on her candle-making expertise and intuition as a practicing witch, Shay set out to make magickal tools that were ready to use, high quality, and created with genuine intention. With encouragement from her husband Michael and a circle of devoted practitioners, Third Eye Creations was born.

What began as a humble venture crafting spell candles—hand-poured, lunar-aligned, and thoroughly witch-approved—soon blossomed into something much bigger: a distinctive witch shop rooted in community and authenticity. Today, Third Eye Creations offers an ever-growing array of handcrafted goods, mostly sourced and made by local practitioners who infuse their knowledge and energy into every product.

At our core, we believe magick and energy are everywhere—and everything we offer is made for witches, by witches. Our goods are handcrafted in sacred spaces, following lunar cycles and planetary days to optimize their power. Every detail—from food-grade paraffin wax and hemp wicks, to the rich colors, essential oils, organic herbs, and ritual timing—is carefully chosen to ensure each candle is both beautiful and effective.

As our circle expanded, so did our offerings. Third Eye Creations now includes hand-carved woodwork, bespoke jewelry, apothecary goods, custom ritual tools, leatherwork, and more—all designed for the diverse needs of today’s practitioners. And the magick doesn’t stop with what’s on the shelves! We introduced Tampa Bay’s first Candle and Spell Bar, a unique hands-on DIY experience where visitors can dress their own candles and craft spell jars, witch balls, ritual baths, and mojo bags.

In 2024, our story took an exciting new turn: Third Eye Creations acquired Alchemy and Ashes, a beloved institution in the local magickal community. With this merger, we evolved into Third Eye Alchemy, blending the best of both legacies and standing as a one-of-a-kind destination where tradition meets innovation and every visitor becomes part of a living magickal story.

We are honored to have been named Tampa Bay’s Best of the Best 2024 for Best Metaphysical Shop and proudly took home Gold in Tampa Bay’s Best of the Best 2025. These awards celebrate the heart of our mission: serving our community with true intention and authentic magick.
